What is Imagine? Why should I attend it?

Imagine is an annual event organized by Children First and the TWA that seeks to bring together teachers, parents, young adults, policy makers, paediatricians, educators, and other professionals. It seeks to be more than just a confluence, but a movement that focuses on dialogue, discussion and consciousness building. It hopes to bring together speakers from different walks of life, to share stories and perspectives rather than a deliverance of skill sets.

What can I expect from the sessions?

Main speakers AT IMAGINE 2019 will be parents from diverse backgrounds who practice courage and leading professionals from the field of mental health, education, child welfare, advocacy and disability. The details of the speakers at IMAGINE 2019 will be updated soon on our website.
Sessions will be held through sharing of stories, interactive sessions and creative installations so that the participants have an enriching experience that they can take back to their families, work and life.

Will ‘Parenting with Courage’ be helpful for me as a professional/teacher?

Yes. This event will be useful for parents, professionals, teachers, policy makers, educators, occupational therapists, and any others working with children and families.
